October 2008

The month of October brings many things: cooler weather (sometimes), my niece Ryn's and GG May's birthday (on the same day) and of course Halloween. 
Daddy has been having a lot of fun going to sporting events.  Of course we have our season tickets to the Seminoles, but he as also gone to see the Tampa Bay Ray's play in the ALCS game 2 and the Bucs play Carolina on the same weekend.  Then on the 23rd he had the opportunity to go to the World Series game 2.  If the Ray's can win one in Phillie he will most likely be able to go to game 6 in Tampa on Wednesday the 29th.  Here is a picture from is seat at the World Series.




This was the first year that Kami requested a pumpkin to carve.  Mommy picked out the pumpkin and Daddy carved it to Kami's specifications: "I want to name her Sally, I want eyelashes, and a happy pumpkin with teeth."  So daddy did a great job of carving  what Kami wanted.  We all had a great time.  Mommy even made pumpkin seeds.
